| Anne DeGrace is a librarian, journalist, writer and illustrator living near Nelson, British Columbia.
She is the author of two novels, Treading Water (McArthur & Co. 2005) and Wind Tails (McArthur, 2007). She has self-published two photographic books on the West Kootenay region of British Columbia. Her short stories have appeared in The New Quarterly, Room of One's Own, and Wascana Review. In addition, she has produced illustrations for several children's books published by Canadian publishers.
Anne is active in cultural development at the municipal level, and is currently SouthEast representative for the Federation of BC Writers. When not procrastinating in her writing studio, Anne works at the Nelson Library in collections development. She has worked as a volunteer mentoring young adults one-on-one and in the classroom.
