Ann Walsh is a long time Cariboo resident and Federation Member. She is the author of five books of historical fiction for young readers, and the editor of two anthologies in the same genre. Her other titles include Shabash!, about a young Indo Canadian boy who joins minor hockey, the Flower Power series, and a picture book, Forestry A-Z, co-authored with Kathleen Cook Waldron.
Ann has also edited an anthology of stories about teens experiences loss and grief.
Her first book, Your Time, My Time has been called a "Canadian classic" and has been continuously in print for 25 years. Ann's historical fiction trilogy set in Barkerville during the gold rush-Moses, Me and Murder!, The Doctor's Apprentice, and By The Skin of His Teeth is popular with classes studying BC history.
Her short works for both adults and children have been included in anthologies and magazines in many countries.
